Mark Herron is a trusted advisor in government affairs and state-level strategy, helping organizations navigate the intersection of policy, funding, and political influence. With a career spanning legislative service, enterprise growth, and national consulting, he brings a comprehensive and results-driven approach to government relations.
Prior to joining The Trianon Group, Mark worked alongside a national network of former state chiefs and senior policymakers to advance client strategies across the country. He played a central role in aligning high-level relationships with on-the-ground stakeholder engagement to position clients for success in competitive state environments.
Mark previously served as Vice President of LobbyTools, Florida’s leading legislative tracking platform, where he led enterprise development and client strategy, helping organizations anticipate and respond to rapidly evolving legislative dynamics. Earlier in his career, he served in the Florida Senate as a Legislative Analyst, gaining firsthand experience in the legislative process.
As a Tallahassee native and graduate of Florida State University, Mark spent nine years coaching high school basketball, mentoring student-athletes both on and off the court. He and his wife, Angie, are raising their two young boys in Tallahassee—giving him a personal perspective as both a practitioner and consumer of public policy.
